Childhood Friends

My son is in the Middle. Oh my he is a Senior this year. The man on the right is Andy, he and the man on left Josh are friends of the family and they all grew up together over the years. Normally I have not been posting my art projects which have been infrequent at this time but rather I thought I'd take a moment as Andy (the one in Red) is about to head to Iraq to fight this crazy war that we are in. It's hard to see his family having to deal with this as I couldn't even imagine my son going off to war. Oh when oh when God will War in this world end? So this is my little tribute to Andy to say how very proud I am to see this extremely talented young man take up arms and support our Country. May God bring you home safely into your parents arms!

Power Washing

I spent the weekend power washing the decks and stair leading to the lake this weekend (With the help of friends and family of course), cleaned the gutters and the inside of the house is almost clean enough to live in. LOL This picture shows how grimmy the Deck and stairs and picnic table were. Its like a whole new neck and table now... Next weekend will be staining and waterproofing this. Its getting there.
